Quilt Teacher, Longarm Quilt Teacher, & Gammill Sales Rep All In One
Valeria Hill began her own piecing and quilting journey in the mid 1990's and became hooked.
She has been sharing her piecing knowledge and turn-under appliqué technique at local quilt shops since the year 2000.Valeria bought her first longarm machine in 1999 and has been quilting for herself and others since that time. In 2006 she became a Gammill sales representative for Liberty Quilting. Valeria began sharing her longarm knowledge by teaching at Machine Quilter's Showcase in 2005. She routinely enters her quilts into competition and has won at Machine Quilter's Showcase, Quilt Odyssey, and Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza. Within the last four years, Valeria has been doing fabric dyeing and using some of these fabrics in her piecing. She is an active member of two quilt guilds and enjoys sharing with guilds through programs and workshops.

Quilt Guild Workshops
Applique 101
I'll teach you how to do turn under appliqué, make smooth circles, and apply your appliqué by machine. This is a technique workshop that will allow you to do appliqué that can be deceptive as to whether it is done by hand or machine. Only very close observation will confirm with certainty and even then some may wonder.
Fabric Dyeing and Painting
This workshop explores basic dyeing, sun printing, and fabric painting. We discuss the use of stencils and stamp pads with paints and inks. Discover the fun and the pleasure that producing your own specialty fabric can bring when you use them in your next quilt.
Longarm Quilting Classes

Being an artist is not a requirement for this class. You'll learn approximately eight background fillers and then combine them with stencils to show you how easy it can be to do beautiful and creative designs while working from the front of your machine. Seasonal, child and adult oriented themes and feathering are all covered in this class.
It's All About the Tools!
This class shows how using different tools can enhance and simplify your longarm quilting. Learn how to do beautiful custom work for yourself and your customers with the use of longarm quilting tools.
Painted Fabrics and Backgrounds
This class explores basic fabric painting with varying degrees of dilution to obtain results with colors that range from bright to colorwash. We'll also play with stamps to add more interest to the fabric. This class will show how easy it is to add interesting and unique fabrics to your collection for future use. Wearing old clothes and having fun are a requirement. Kits are provided at an additional cost per person.
