Valeria has been a longarm quilter since 1999 and is a sales representative for the Virginia Longarm Network, your Mid-Atlantic Gammill and Statler Dealer. As a sales representative, she is proud to be a part of the Virginia Longarm Network and vends for them at local and national quilt shows. She is also a participating representative in the Virginia Longarm Network Owners Meetings which are held throughout the year. Our October 2010 owner's meeting hosted by Val's Quilting in Wyalusing, PA. was a great success and we are looking forward to the one in 2011. As a longarm quilter Valeria has won numerous awards for her quilts. She has placed at Machine Quilters Showcase, Quilt Odyssey, Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, and NQA and at many local events. She presently has a quilt accepted at the 2011 AQS Show in Paducah, Kentucky. This quilt, "Heart's Desire" won First Place in Traditional Whole Cloth at Machine Quilters Showcase 2010 and a First Place in Best Machine Workmanship Traditional at Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza 2011. Previously, her quilt "Oak Leaf Time", which won several awards, was displayed at the Houston Quilt Festival for their Traditional Quilt Exhibit V and traveled to numerous venues for display.
